Expressions of interest sought for two separate cattle dog trial championships

The NSW Working Stock Dog Association is seeking expressions of interest from dog trial organisers who would like to host and run:

       * the 2025 Australian Working Cattle Dog Trial Championships, which includes the annual State of Origin Challenge

       * the 2025 NSW Working Cattle Dog Trial Championships.

The successful committees would need to be able to run each of the events over three days if numbers warrant it - numbers for the Australian Championships could mean the event may have to be held over four days.

To be successful, interested committees would also have to commit to putting time in to work the trial cattle before each of the events.

Written expressions of interest can be emailed to NSW Working Stock Dog Association Secretary Janelle McLennan at secretary@nswworkingstockdogs.org.au.

For further information contact President Lew Molloy on 0418 664 641 or Janelle on 0407 943 913.

Expressions of interest should be submitted by close of business Friday, 13 September.

Welcome to the NSW Working Stock Dog Association Website

The Association was formed in 2006 to bring together the major NSW Cattle Dog trialling regions in a bid to expand and promote the sport.

The Hunter Stock Dog Association and the North Coast Working Dog Association restructured their operations and together with the support of triallers from the New England area combined to develop the NSW Working Stock Dog Association.
